independent studies: animation

In this youtube clip, it shows a number of frames where the drawn character fights back at the hand. It is called "Maker vs Marker - The epic Battle" and could have been created by rotobrush or maybe by a flick book however, this is a great example of animation as it shows how a good quality of animation could be created.



In this youtube clip, it shows another example of good quality animation. This is different in comparison to the clip before but it also works. It is called "Runaway" and is by Susan Yung. It has a good storyline and the animation is flawless.

By looking at these two animation clips sourced from youtube, this gives me possible ideas for when I come to creating my own 2 minute animation sequence. The first clip would an easier option however, I also like Runaway and the challenge it would give to work to such a high level. I may need to look at some more clips to see the range that are available.
